Re-Frame; a post race ritual
“Re-Frame” is an art-driven post-race ritual where runners slow down, debrief, and express through creative practice.
Developed as a bridge between arts and athletics, the concept explores how training and creative making mirror each other as parallel expressive practices.
Developed in collaboration with Eternal Remedy.
Inspired by my first half marathon training block in 2023.
I would come home from work, throw on my running shoes, and run across the Williamsburg bridge (5K) to a vintage store in Brooklyn, where I would buy an old magazine to take home and collage with.
It became a ritual.
